Poultry
Poultry production, consisting of broilers or egg-laying flocks,
is located primarily in the eastern third of the state. The number
of egg-laying poultry in the state averages just over five million
and produces over 945 million eggs per year. The poultry industry
has significantly boosted the agriculture economy in eastern Oklahoma.
