The Tulsa County Farm Bureau women's committee built a greenhouse for inner-city students attending Tulsa's Kendall-Whittier elementary school in March 2009. For their work with the school, Tulsa County was selected to be a County Activities of Excellence participant by the American Farm Bureau Federation. The Tulsa County women are showcasing their greenhouse project at the trade show at the American Farm Bureau national Convention in Seattle, Wa., Jan. 10-13.
