Rural healthcare: funding and recruitment with Dr. Kayse Shrum - Audio Feature
Dr. Kayse Shrum, Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine and provost for the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa visited with OFB’s Sam Knipp about the future of health care in Oklahoma, and particularly in rural Oklahoma.
Shrum discussed funding for health care in rural Oklahoma, and recruiting students from rural Oklahoma to study medicine and practice in smaller communities.
