Walking through the 2009 cotton crop - beginning to end
December 2nd, 2009During 2009, we had the chance to visit three cotton producers at different stages during the production year. All three farmers' operations are located near Altus, Okla., in the southwest part of our state. Cotton farmers are still hard at work in the fields, with 50 percent of cotton harvest completed as of November 30.
While our state's cotton producers continue to work hard harvesting fiber for the world, we invite you to take a look back at the year in cotton production through this multimedia presentation. We hope you enjoy the sights and sounds from Oklahoma's fields as you watch the 2009 cotton crop progress from planting to irrigating to harvest.
