can help shape Oklahoma's next water plan

The Oklahoma Water Resources
Board (OWRB), along with the Water Research Institute, is working
on an update to the Oklahoma Comprehensive Water Plan, which was
first published in 1980 and updated in 1997. The five-year study
will address the needs of Oklahomans in regard to water. A series
of meetings to be held across the state will provide Farm Bureau
leaders with an important opportunity to shape the state's next
water plan.
Each meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Oklahoma Farm Bureau urges
its members to attend these meetings and provide input about agriculture
and rural Oklahoma's water needs.
Following is a partial list of scheduled local input meetings for
the statewide water plan:
• April 12 - Beaver, Beaver County Fairgrounds Pavilion
