Each year at the OKFB Annual Meeting, we honor our members and counties who go above and beyond in promoting the organization and agriculture across the state.
Our farmers, ranchers and member-led County Farm Bureaus are the backbone of our grassroots organization, and we work to recognize our members and counties for their achievements and contributions during the year.
Below, meet the winners of the awards presented during our 2025 OKFB Annual Meeting held Nov. 7-9 in Oklahoma City, which serves as the organization’s largest. yearly gathering of farmers and ranchers.
John I. Taylor Award
Named after OKFB’s first president, this award recognizes the top county Farm Bureau. As OKFB’s highest county recognition, selection is made from counties earning the Six-Star Presidential Award.
Lewis H. Munn Award
Known as the Farm Bureau Builder’s Award, this award is named for OKFB’s second state president who served for 22 years. It is awarded every year to the county the strongest program in a chosen area.
Distinguished Service Award
This award honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions to agriculture and the Farm Bureau organization.
District Farm and Ranch Family Recognition
The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership committee is proud to recognize nine outstanding farm and ranch families from around our state.
County Excellence Award
Modeled after the AFBF County Activities of Excellence Award, this award recognizes county Farm Bureaus with the most outstanding or unique local program, activity or event. The award is given to one small and one large county Farm Bureau based on membership.
County Farm Bureau Awards
Each year, OKFB recognizes the county Farm Bureaus that have excelled in program areas such as membership, public policy, local affairs, service to members, Women’s Leadership Committee and Young Farmers and Ranchers with a Presidential Star Award.
YF&R Achievement Award
The Achievement Award recognizes Young Farmers & Ranchers who have excelled in their farm or ranch and have honed their leadership abilities through Farm Bureau and other activities and organizations.
YF&R Excellence in Agriculture Award
The award is presented to young farmers and ranchers – who do not derive a majority of their income from an operation – for excellence in agriculture and Farm Bureau.
YF&R Charles L. Roff Award
Presented to the state’s top county YF&R committee, the Charles L. Roff Award encourages YF&R members to improve their local committees while strengthening the Farm Bureau organization.
YF&R Discussion Meet Winners
The OKFB Young Farmers and Ranchers named the winners of three discussion meet competitive events who participated in a panel–style discussion.
District Administrator of the Year Award
This award is presented to one county Farm Bureau administrator from each OKFB district for their contributions to the overall success of their county Farm Bureau.
OKFB Legislative Awards
OKFB recognized legislators with Champion Awards and the Friend of the Farm Award for authoring or working on legislation that protects agriculture and private property rights in Oklahoma.
Journalist of the year
Oklahoma Farm Bureau honors a journlist who devotes time and coverage to agriculture issues along with Farm Bureau members and events.
