Applications are now open through April 17 for Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s 2026 Oklahoma Youth Leading Agriculture conference May 26-29 in Oklahoma City.
OYLA us a multi-day conference hosted each summer by the OKFB Young Farmers and Ranchers committee for a select group of our state’s top agriculture students.
OYLA is open to high school students completing their junior year in 2026. The conference is designed to expand the horizons of top agriculture students through hands-on activities, agriculture-related tours, leadership development projects and engaging speakers from across the agriculture spectrum.
Selected students should be among the top well-rounded students in their class and should have an interest in furthering their education at the post-secondary level.
Students will be housed together at a local hotel, along with OKFB staff and student counselors. OKFB will provide transportation to venues for tours, meals and team building exercises throughout the conference.
Interested students are asked to submit their leadership experiences, high school transcript, SAT or ACT scores, cumulative GPA and a 150-word essay based on their most significant leadership experience. The event cost is $100 for students who are selected to attend the conference and can be paid at registration.
