Oklahoma Farm Bureau has named Seminole County as the John I. Taylor Award winner for 2015. The announcement was made at the OKFB 74th Annual Convention Nov. 13 in Oklahoma City. The John I. Oklahoma Farm Bureau presented Sequoyah County with the Lewis H. Munn Farm Bureau Builders Award during the OKFB 74th Annual Convention on Nov. 13 in Oklahoma City. Charlie Coblentz of Mayes County was named the 2015 Young Farmers and Ranchers Discussion Meet winner at the Oklahoma Farm Bureau 74th Annual Meeting Nov. 13 in Oklahoma City. Coblentz competed against five other participants in three rounds of debate-style discussion where performance was evaluated on the exchange of ideas and information on pre-determined topics. Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s Comanche County Young Farmers and Ranchers committee is the 2015 recipient of the Charles L. Roff Award. The award was presented in Oklahoma City at the OKFB 74th Annual Meeting Nov. 13. The Charles L. Foundation to sell brick pavers for commemorative courtyard
The Oklahoma Farming and Ranching Foundation is now offering personalized, engraved brick pavers to provide the basis for the Oklahoma Farm Bureau 75th Anniversary Commemorative Courtyard, to be located on the southeast side of the home office in Oklahoma City. The Foundation will begin selling the brick pavers at the OKFB 74th Annual Meeting. The four-inch by eight-inch brick pavers may be engraved with up to three lines of text, with a maximum of 18 characters per line. OKFB to host Flapjack Fundraiser at annual meeting
Oklahoma Farm Bureau is proud to host the Flapjack Fundraiser at its annual meeting on Nov. 14 at 7:30 a.m. in the Cox Convention Center. Proceeds from the breakfast will go to the Bushels for Books Program, a partnership between the Oklahoma Farming and Ranching Foundation and the OKFB Young Farmers and Ranchers. The program will provide bushel baskets full of accurate agriculture books to teachers from five Oklahoma schools. Farm Bureau women gather in Duncan for fall rally
The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee hosted its 2015 Fall Rally Oct. 30-31 in Duncan, Oklahoma.
