In her role, Helbach will manage OKFB social media, maintain the organization’s website and email marketing efforts, and create content that shares the stories of Oklahoma farmers and ranchers. Additionally, she will provide support for other communications projects including photography, news articles and design work.
Originally from central Wisconsin, Helbach grew up on her family’s cash-crop farm, where her passion for agriculture first began. She was active in 4-H and FFA growing up and showed livestock competitively.
“Agriculture has been a significant part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’m excited to join an organization that supports and advocates for the rural way of life,” Helbach said. “I’m looking forward to connecting with OKFB members and continuing to learn more about Oklahoma agriculture.”
Helbach is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where she earned bachelor’s degrees in agricultural communications and animal science. Prior to joining OKFB, she served as a digital and media specialist for QuickDraw Creative, an agriculture marketing agency, where her work included social media, website design and email marketing for a variety of clients.
