The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee will host its annual conference April 24-25 in Norman where Farm Bureau women around the state will gather to learn about agriculture and share the farm and ranch story.
The theme for the two-day conference will be “Agriculture: Where growth meets passion,” and will provide education and fellowship opportunities through workshops, sessions and tours.
The event will begin Friday, April 24, with tours in the Norman area beginning at 11:30 a.m. Planned tour stops include the National Weather Service office and a farm tour. General conference registration will begin at 4:30 p.m., and attendees will gather for a dinner followed by advocacy workshops.
Saturday’s events will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a breakfast, and activities throughout the day will include sessions on farm profitability, storytelling and social media, wellness, leadership in agriculture and more. The conference will adjourn at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
The Embassy Suites Norman Hotel & Conference Center will serve as the host hotel for the event, and attendees will need to book their own rooms at the special conference room rate of $159 per night.
Farm Bureau women can register online using the registration form below. Once a registration is submitted, a link and information will be provided to book any needed hotel rooms.
There is no registration fee for the conference itself, and childcare is available for both days of the event. The deadline to register for the event or book hotel rooms is Thursday, April 2.
