Jefferson County, located on the southern border of Oklahoma, serves as a gateway to the Chisholm Trail. Addington has a Monument Hill at a Chisholm Trail lookout point. Our county is also the home to the Waurika Lake.
A way that we support our county is by providing Air Evac to all school districts in the county.
The Jefferson County Farm Bureau takes part in Farm Bureau Week in February by hosting a luncheon.
