Pawnee County Farm Bureau sponsors many events throughout the county, some of those being awards for the Pawnee County Livestock Show as well as a savings IRA to the top graduating senior.

Wheat and soybeans are the main commodities grown in Pawnee County. Our county’s main livestock include cow-calf pairs and stocker cattle.

Pawnee County is home to the Pawnee Bill Wild West Show, Oklahoma’s largest annual Steam and Gas Engine Show each May, and the Pawnee Memorial IPRA Rodeo and annual cattle drive every August. Pawnee County is also the original home of Major Gordon Lillie (Pawnee Bill) and Dick Tracy.
