Update: 2020 OKFB Congressional Action Tour cancelled

March 12, 2020

Out of an abundance of caution, the Oklahoma Farm Bureau board of directors has decided to cancel the 2020 OKFB Congressional Action Tour trip to Washington, D.C., along with the planned add-on trip to New York City.

Due to the ongoing health situation surrounding the Coronavirus and COVID-19, especially in the cities of Washington, D.C., and New York City, the trip will not be held during its planned dates, March 26-29, 2020. The possibility of a fall trip will be considered along with the option of waiting until 2021 to reschedule the congressional action tour.

For questions surrounding your travel plans with Congressional Action Tour, please contact Melisa Neal at (405) 523-2475.

Make plans to join fellow Oklahoma Farm Bureau members from across the state at the 2020 Congressional Action Tour in Washington, D.C., March 23-27.

This unique opportunity provides Oklahoma farmers and ranchers with the chance to speak directly with Oklahoma’s Congressional delegation and other leaders about the issues concerning them most.

An optional trip to New York City after the Congressional Action Tour in Washington, D.C., is available to Farm Bureau members at an additional cost. Members who do not travel to New York City will return from Washington, D.C., on Friday, March 27.

Attendees will stay at the Trump International Hotel, located near the National Mall. The package price for members will include round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations and one group dinner the first night.
