On the Road with Ag in the Classroom

April 24, 2014

The Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom is headed to the Panhandle region of Oklahoma for this year’s On the Road tour, June 17 – 19.

Participants on the tour will visit Black Mesa State Park to see different fossils and petrified wood. This area is believed to have been occupied by humans as far back as 10,000 years ago.

Santa Fe Trail swales can also be seen throughout the country.

The tour will also feature a few agricultural tours including Hitch Feed Yard, Seaboard swine operations, as well as, wheat and corn research, irrigation and more.

For more information, please visit the Ag in the Classroom website, which is where you can download the registration form. Registration deadline is Thursday, May 1.
