OKFB Washington, D.C. Summit set for March 27-31

Join your fellow Oklahoma Farm Bureau members in Washington, D.C. March 27-31 for the 2023 OKFB Washington, D.C. Summit, formerly known as the OKFB Congressional Action Tour.

While in D.C., Farm Bureau members will have the opportunity to visit with elected officials and industry experts to discuss issues affecting agriculture and rural America.

Monday, March 27

Travel day

7:30 p.m. Carmine’s Italian Restaurant

Tuesday, March 28

8 a.m. Breakfast at the hotel

9 a.m. Industry briefings

Afternoon – free time

5 p.m. Congressional reception

Dinner on your own

Wednesday, March 29

Congressional briefings on Capitol Hill

11:45 a.m. Senator James Lankford

1 p.m. Congressman Frank Lucas

1:45 p.m. Congressman Tom Cole

2:30 p.m. Congresswoman Stephanie Bice

3:30 p.m. Congressman Kevin Hern

4:00 p.m. Senator Markwayne Mullin

Thursday, March 30

9 a.m. Farm bill and science committee briefings

Hotel Accommodations

Members will stay as a group at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. Estimated hotel prices are $1,800 per room for the entire stay. OKFB will book hotel reservations for all registered attendees.

Members will book their own airfare for the trip. Estimated flight prices are $500 roundtrip.
