Oklahoma Farm Bureau members will travel to Washington, D.C., to advocate for agriculture in the nation’s capital April 7-10 during the organization’s annual Washington, D.C., Summit. The trip fill feature visits with Oklahoma’s congressional delegation, industry briefings and national policy updates to share Oklahoma agricultural perspectives with national leaders and industry representatives. Chaney joins OKFB communications as spring intern
The Oklahoma Farm Bureau communications department has selected Oklahoma State University student Rianna Chaney as the 2025 spring communications intern. Chaney, a native of Keymar, Maryland, is studying agricultural communications at OSU with minors in agricultural leadership and event management. Five rural Oklahoma innovators presented their inventions and ideas to a gathering of investment partners and Farm Bureau guests at Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s Oklahoma Grassroots Rural and Ag Business Accelerators Demo Day Wednesday, Feb. 5, in Oklahoma City. Demo Day was the culmination of the accelerator program’s Activate Oklahoma rural innovation pipeline for the Fall 2024 program cohort, which featured rural Oklahoma businesses located in Minco, Fairview, Wagoner and other local communities. King joins OKFB as executive assistant
Oklahoma Farm Bureau has named Brittney King to the position of executive assistant in the organization’s executive offices. In her role, King will help plan events for the organization and assist OKFB staff with wide variety of coordination efforts. Five delegates from Oklahoma Farm Bureau helped set grassroots policy at the 2025 American Farm Bureau convention in San Antonio that will guide the policy efforts of the nation’s leading farm organization for the coming year. OKFB recognized for achievement with four AFBF State Awards of Excellence
Oklahoma Farm Bureau was recognized for outstanding programs and achievement in 2024 with four American Farm Bureau State Awards of Excellence. The awards were announced at the 2025 AFBF convention in San Antonio where Farm Bureau achievements earned during the previous year were celebrated. OKFB earned SAE awards in all four program areas: Advocacy, Coalitions & Partnerships, Engagement & Outreach and Leadership & Business Development.
