Farm Bureau members ages 18-35 are encouraged to attend the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers Legislative Day April 11 at the state Capitol in Oklahoma City.
Farmers, ranchers and rural Oklahomans will join their fellow YF&R members as they work to promote agriculture at the state Capitol and learn more about Farm Bureau policy.
OKFB public policy staff will provide a policy briefing at 8:30 a.m. at the OKFB home office before members head to the capitol to visit with legislators at 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided for members following the visit.
All YF&R members are encouraged to attend the evening of networking and fun April 10 at Dust Bowl Lanes & Lounge at 6:30 p.m.
Registration for the event is free, and members must complete the online registration form by March 28.
Hotel rooms are available at a discounted rate at the Holiday Inn Express in Bricktown. Those interested in a hotel room must call Holiday Inn at (405) 778-8100 and mention Oklahoma Farm Bureau to receive the discount.
