The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers committee gathered more than 2,000 pounds of food plus cash donations to help feed Oklahomans facing food insecurity through the committee’s Fill the Sack food drive. Applications are now open through April 15 for Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s Oklahoma Youth Leading Agriculture Conference taking place May 27-30, 2025, in Oklahoma City. OYLA us a multi-day conference hosted each summer by the OKFB Young Farmers and Ranchers committee for a select group of our state’s top agriculture. Oklahoma Farm Bureau members elected and re-elected several leaders during the organization’s 83rd annual meeting Nov. 8-10 in Oklahoma City. Board of directors Jimmy Taylor of Roger Mills County was elected to serve as the new District 2 director, filling the seat of retiring director Monte Tucker. He will serve a three-year term representing Beckham, Custer, Greer, Harmon, Kiowa, Jackson, Roger Mills, Tillman and Washita counties.
