The Lonnie and Sharon King family of Hydro received the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s District Three Farm and Ranch Family Recognition during the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman.  The Kings grow wheat, soybeans, grass and other forages alongside their cow/calf herd in Caddo County. Krizes honored as District Four Farm and Ranch Family

The Russell and Jimmi Kriz family of Lawton received the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s District Four Farm and Ranch Family Recognition during the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman.  Russell and Jimmi farm 1,500 acres of wheat, cotton and forage in Comanche County. The Jeff and Holly Cooper family of Poteau received the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s District Five Farm and Ranch Family Recognition during the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman.  The Coopers have a herd of 100 Braford cows that Jeff said works well for the area. The Bart and Kelly Wiedel family of Muskogee received the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s District Six Farm and Ranch Family Recognition during the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman.  Bart and Kelly ranch in Muskogee County where they have a cow/calf herd and focus on improving the land and caring for their animals. Armbrusters honored as District Seven Farm and Ranch Family

The Scott and Allison Armbruster Family of Burlington received the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s District Seven Farm and Ranch Family Recognition during the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman.  The Armbrusters farm in Alfalfa County just south of Burlington. The family has 1,200 acres where they grow alfalfa, wheat, soybeans and milo and care for a cow/calf herd. The Carrel and Louise Bryant family of Ada received the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee’s District Eight Farm and Ranch Family Recognition during the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman.  The Bryant family has a comprehensive pecan operation that they run with their two adult children, Randy and Lisa. The family also raises cattle and grows hay on their farm ground in Pontotoc County. OKFB members elect leaders at annual meeting

Three board members were re-elected by voting delegates at Oklahoma Farm Bureau’s 77th Annual Meeting Nov. 16-18 in Norman, Oklahoma. Monte Tucker of Sweetwater, Oklahoma, was re-elected to a three-year term on the OKFB board of directors representing District Two. He will serve Farm Bureau members in Beckham, Custer, Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kiowa, Roger Mills, Tillman and Washita counties. Members in District Five re-elected Gary Crawley of Savanna to serve a three-year term on the OKFB board of directors. The Oklahoma Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee presented its District Farm and Ranch Family Recognition awards at the organization’s 77th annual meeting on Saturday, Nov. 17 in Norman, Oklahoma.
